Jeakins Weir is building a new science block at Prince William School in Oundle for Northamptonshire County Council (NCC). The £3.6 million contract is expected to be completed in January 2018.

Prince William School is a large secondary school and sixth form. It was built in 1971 and is named in honour of Prince William of Gloucester whose family home, Barnwell Manor, is a few miles away from Oundle. Jeakins Weir has been responsible for several other building works at the school during the past 30 years.

Prince William School is the fourth Northamptonshire school with Jeakins Weir builders on site – the others being Roade Primary School, Moulton Primary School and Henry Chichele Primary School in Higham Ferrers.
