Jeakins Weir was contracted to construct a new Sixth Form block. The works comprised of a two storey extension to current Sixth Form single-storey centre, with connecting corridor; external works and onsite parking layout revisions; and alterations to specific areas of the existing Sixth Form layout.
Car parking on the site was very restricted, so we constructed a temporary car park on the existing playing field, reinstating on completion. The access was very tight and we had to escort delivery vehicles onto our site.
Bishop Stopford school have just awarded us a £1.2m science block extension, which started in September 2014 – another one of our clients who have awarded us repeat business with them and highlighting the excellent service we provide and the trust our clients have in us.
